For this heiter session we’re going to meet on the 14th of November at 10am UK time | 11am CET (on zoom). Our host is photographer Esther Sabetpou.

Esther will give a 60min introduction to self-portraiture “phonography”. We will be exploring how we feel about our “looks” and ways to generate feelings of positive self-image. She will share some ways to feel embodied, confident and have fun. Begin the insightful and useful journey, using your mobile phone, a pen and paper.

About the workshop host:

Esther Sabetpour is a portrait photographer and artist who created 'Odyssey Studio'. After graduating from the London College Of Communication (2003), she founded “Weddings by Esther - Unique Marriage of Cultures”. Esther was inspired by her own rich cultural mix of Persian and British Family.

A burns survivor, Esther used her self-portrait process to aid her emotional recovery from a traumatic near-death accident in 2010. This culminated in a 2011 exhibition of her intimate self-portraits which received international press coverage.

After becoming a mum of two, Esther began a new business taking intimate portraits of motherhood. Most recently, she has produced brand-led portraits and shared the joy and art of self-portraiture.
